Squiz maintains green focus in assisting the Federal Government!
On Friday 21 August 2009, Peter Garrett launched the LivingGreener web portal www.livinggreener.gov.au after a successful implementation by Squiz Australia using their locally developed MySource Matrix supported open source Content Management System (CMS).
Several years ago Squiz formed a Business Sustainability Group to look at how they could be a ‘greener’ organisation by informing staff how they and Squiz can be more environmentally aware. In 2007 Squiz Australia followed the lead of Squiz New Zealand by committing itself to being a carbon neutral company
The LivingGreener website provides a starting point for information about living more sustainably and reducing your environmental impact. It also includes information on government programs and financial support.

The LivingGreener website has been developed with usability and accessibility principles, research and testing as a main driver of design and also includes the Funnelback search developed by the CSIRO and acquired by Squiz in recent months.
Squiz is no newcomer to web solutions for Australian governments having numerous implementations across the Federal and State Governments since Squiz’s inception some 11 years ago. The company is proud to be associated with the Federal Governments latest green website initiative.
