Implementation Services
Squiz offers a range of services to help you in the implementation phase of your project, during which Squiz takes the wireframes in your Functional Specification and builds your website.
Squiz specialises in providing the services necessary to implement your website in MySource Matrix from start to finish, including build planning, project management, design creative, design implementation, functional implementation, content migration, documentation, platform build, QA testing, go live support and training:

Build Planning
During Build Planning, Squiz defines and plans the Build Phase of the project, according to your Functional Specification. We create the Build Plan which defines how the Implementation Team are to configure the features specified in your Functional Specification, the platform your site will be built on and, if appropriate, the content migration to be performed by the Content Migration Team. Also included is the Project Plan for the build phase – that is, when these services will be provided and the resourcing required. All Squiz website implementation projects must have a Build Plan, which is always prepared by Squiz.
Project Management
Your Squiz Project Manager will manage your project according to the Squiz project management methodology, known as the Squiz Project Life Cycle (PLC). The PLC draws on elements of PMBOK, PRINCE2 and other standard methodologies, and is designed to deliver MySource Matrix implementations as efficiently as possible.Training
Squiz offers an extensive range of courses that will instruct your content editors, approvers and administrators on how to make the most from your MySource Matrix implementation.
You can see a list of the training courses Squiz offers on the following page. Full details of all courses and the course schedule for the different training centres is available online at http://www.squiz.net.au/services-andsupport/training

course be easy to use.
Platform Build
Platform Build includes installation of the server platform, MySource Matrix and its associated software. You have the choice of hosting your MySource Matrix system with Squiz, or by yourself in-house, or at a third party hosting facility.
Content Migration
The Squiz Content Services Team can do the hard work for you when migrating your online content to MySource Matrix, if you do not have the appropriate resources available. Squiz can undertake the migration entirely on your behalf, or work collaboratively with your team.
The Squiz Content Services Team will expertly migrate your existing content into MySource Matrix and at the same time they will be looking out for any accessibility or quality issues to ensure that such issues are not transferred into your new site.
Design Implementation
During Design Implementation, your Design Creative is cutup into HTML and the XML design tags are included to allow it to function within MySource Matrix - this includes tags for menu structures, breadcrumb trails, nested content such as news listings, search boxes, login forms, calendar pickers etc.
Functional Implementation
During Functional Implementation, Squiz builds the page templates and components as defined by the Build Specification. One of the main tasks during this stream is the implementation of the functional components that have been nested as Design Areas when the design was cutup to HTML during Design Implementation. During Design Implementation, dummy content is nested in these areas, and the functionality is then implemented during Functional Implementation.
QA Testing
The Squiz Test Team will Quality Assurance (QA) test the implementation of your site as whole. Squiz will verify that the site delivered meets the appropriate standards and provides the functionality as defined in the Build Specification.
Documentation
Squiz provides a number of reports at the end of your project, to help you with the maintenance of your site going forwards. These include descriptions of your server configuration, your MySource Matrix system configuration and how content authors maintain the site content through the front-end editing interfaces.
User Acceptance Testing
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is the process where the client verifies that the website meets the mutually agreed upon requirements as defined in the Functional Specification, so that you can formally accept it. By definition, User Acceptance Testing is performed by the client, however the Squiz Test Team can provide
services to help you with this phase. Services include acceptance test plan preparation, acceptance test script preparation, acceptance testing, acceptance test reports.
Go Live Support
Go-Live is when your new site is launched to the public. Squiz will co-ordinate all the tasks required so that the launch is undertaken in a careful and considered fashion.
